Skipper is a tiny baby, being half the size of hams his age. His cheeks are always stuffed full of food, and he enjoys sleeping upside down. He has an innocent face, but can zoom fast if you’re not paying close attention!
Peanut is the mum of Butter, and is now ready for adoption. Due to previous abuse, her left foot has broken completely and healed wrongly, resulting it in facing the opposite direction. This can make it painful for her to walk on hard surfaces for long periods, or play on her wheel. She needs thick soft paper bedding to cushion her broken leg.
Coconut is the baby of Flower, and has weaned completely and ready for her new home. She is a little shy but can be very adventurous when it comes to playtime! (Has escaped and climbed up a curtain once)
Flower is best suited for a family who is willing to spare her lots of attention and cuddles, as she is the most interactive hammy you would ever meet! She is always begging for playtime, and is very gentle on hands. It is rare to find a hammy as trusting and tame as she is. While most hamsters love to burrow and hide, her outgoing personality is the complete opposite!
She is a little shy and would require daily bonding time to become more interactive, but is not aggressive. With enough love, she will turn into a palm pancake in no time.

Marsh is an adventurous little boy. He loves climbing all over his hoomans and always appreciates a mealworm treat. Marsh was one of the abandoned Compassvale hamsters and he was the last one that rescuers found. It was lucky that they spotted him in the middle of the street before before someone stepped on him! Marsh also bravely fought against his bumblefoot infection and now has perfect little feet.
Sugar is our resident in-house diva. We did not know how old Sugar was and had wrongly assumed him a lady! This little QUEEN is full of passion and will put his heart and soul into everything he does - whether it be dramatically flipping his body through the sand bath or grabbing way too much food from your fingers to stuff into his pouches… you will not find a bigger drama queen in such a tiny little body.
Kimbap is a healthy and active boy. As he was fed a main diet of sunflower seeds and not provided a wheel to run on, he is way bigger than the rest of his siblings. When we took him in, we thought he was pregnant! He was also screaming in fright for a few nights. Since getting a wheel to play with, he has been zooming on it through the night, or furiously digging in his empty cardboard boxes. He can’t get enough of them.
Bun Bun is a shy little cutie who loves hiding in his many burrows and running on his wheel. He is a hamster food connoisseur that feasts on premium bits of his seed mix first while fervently flicking out the fillers and lab blocks from his saucer.
Tootsie is the brother of Kirin/Kirei, however he is the runt of the litter. Tootsie has been through a lot and has suffered abuse in his previous home, leading to a broken jaw and permanently disfigured teeth. He is no longer able to eat solid food because of this impairment. Despite this, Tootsie is less aggressive than his siblings. He is still nervous about being held, but is slowly learning that we mean no harm to him.

Sophie is a beautiful girl who was unfortunately found abandoned in a second case at Compassvale. She is so gentle and particularly loves strawberry treats. She has a unique coloring which makes her look like she’s wearing a white shawl. Sophie loves exploring and napping. Her fur is a little longer than usual and makes her look like she has a permanent bedhead.

Mochi is a sweet boy with a gorgeous coat of fur. A pale creamy brown, like a roborovski! He lived his life without the bare necessities for a hamster. Since joining the foster programme, he has been provided with a large wheel, lots of paper bedding to dig and sleep in, a sand pit and adequate nutrition. We’re happy to say that he is thriving and curious about human interaction. He even gives gentle boops!
Potato was rescued from a backyard breeder who was getting rid of her unsold stock. It’s a shame that his previous living conditions have affected his personality, but he is a really sweet boy who is learning to trust again, day by day. Are you the one that he can count on?

Isn’t she just the most photogenic girl EVER? Pretty Jujube is already a supermodel at such a young age, and she loves posing for the camera. Like her other siblings, she loves food and running. She has made a huge burrow in her current home and would request for thick layers of bedding so she can build tunnels underneath. She loves playing hide and seek with hands, zooming into a tunnel as hands approach, and popping out of another tunnel in a few seconds.

This is Browyn, aka Bro, aka bro ham. Browyn is squeaky. He complains in hamster-speak. However, once he has food in his mouth, all complains are forgotten. When his food bowl is full, he dives in and comes out with chipmunk cheeks - but, like a true gentleman, he always saves food for his mom and sisters. Late at night, he would stand on his platform on 2 legs, staring into the distance. He could be wondering if there is a human bro out there for a ham bro like him.

Shiro is a fluffy, food motivated ham. Can be bribed with gerber puffs or vegetables on most days. Vocal but can’t resist tasty treats.
Vanilla, when curled up in her corner, resembles a single scoop of vanilla ice cream. This beautiful girl loves 3 things. Food. Naps and Pooping.
Bubu is suspected to be the father of Kirei and Kirin. As Bubu was bred when he was very young, he is only a few months apart from his kids. He is a weird one. He enjoys sleeping pressed flat against his glass tank. Upside down, diagonally, horizontal, he doesn’t mind the position at all! As long as he’s pressed against the glass or cool surfaces, he’s happy. Bubu can be quite frightened of humans. However, all is forgotten once you offer him a snack. He will overcome all fear to eat the snack.
Jellybean will make an excellent fitness buddy. Willing to help you finish your salad. Would appreciate if her new family can provide both a 21cm wheel and flying saucer for her to run on!
Bean is a bonus hamster of the kirei/kirin family! She has gone through unfortunate circumstances as a baby, which has led her to us. She loves digging in her bedding and likes to hide in there. She is obsessed with her wheel and can spend several hours a night running in it. Ever since joining our foster care programme, we have observed that she is a really active and hungry little girl. She is ok with being picked up and stroked over short periods of time, but gets nervous if she’s held for too long.
Kirei is the brother of Kirin. He is tiny, curious, and like his sister, loves burrowing. When he hears his food, he comes running. His little face is full of curiosity and his little feet are zoomy. He can also get quite vocal at times, but when he does, just hold out a treat. He can’t resist peanut butter and mealworms
Sesame is a sweet dwarf hamster who loves human interaction. He is curious and tame, and will come right up to your fingers to sniff if you have any treats for him! He is very active and would zoom around to explore when given free roam time. He loves sunflower seeds, cheese, naps in deep burrows and sand bathing.
He simply can’t wait to be friends!
Antoine is a little cutie whom we nicknamed screamer. The poor boy has not been provided any sort of enrichment or attention, and was terrified at first, screaming hard in the company of humans. He settled in really quickly, disappearing under his paper bedding and running on his wheel.
Remy was found abandoned and free roaming a housing estate. We don’t exactly know much about her, but she is extremely tame and loves naps. While we primarily rescue hamsters, this unfortunate darling had no one else to turn to, so we are helping her find a forever home.
We named him after the distinct lightning bolt on his back which reminded us of Harry potter and a certain political party ;)

Kristoff is the energetic brother of Anna and Olaf. He was almost thrown in the rubbish dump with her siblings but was saved in the nick of time. This chubby little boy has been a joy for his fosterer. He loves to sleep in the open instead of hiding away like most other hamsters which is always a delight to see. When it gets warm, he loves to chill on his ceramic plate. He will also greet anyone who goes near his cage or calls his name. He still responds the best to the name Elsa.
Kirin is an active girl who prefers to nap most of the day and run through the night. Her fur is so white, when she burrows herself in the bedding, it can be a challenge to find her because she blends in perfectly! Like most other hamsters, she is highly food motivated and will definitely come running if you’ve got something tasty for her. Other times, you could just stare at her while she stuffs her cheeks in her food bowl, or curls up to sleep. SO CUTE.
Pablito came in with his brother, Harry. They were housed together in an inadequate cage with tiny wheel and no hideouts. They have been extremely territorial and fought really badly with each other, resulting in deep bite marks and scars all over their bodies.
Just like the character in the animated Disney movie, Lilo is a high energy, strong, independent female! She is fearless, has a mind of her own and is full of curiosity. She doesn’t bite and shows her sweet and endearing side by climbing and interacting with her foster parents’ when she’s out of the cage.
Puma (sister of CKT) was rescued after being thrown away in a plastic takeaway container with her 3 siblings. Meet Joseph, the proud father of 4 hamster babies, rescued on Christmas Day. He was found cramped together with his new brood of in a tiny cage (smaller than the size of a medium sized carrier), cramped with his partner and children. There was no wheel and the bedding, while deep, was wet due to a leaky bottle.
Parmesan was found loitering HDB stairwells and picked up just in time before any community cats got to her. She is an amazingly sweet and tamed mature lady with a gentle demeanor, preferring to curl up in her burrow or on your lap. Although she is quick to stuff herself with treats, she is on the smaller size compared to normal syrians, weighing only 114 grams due to slightly misaligned teeth. Because of her smaller build and teeth, we are only looking to match her with experienced adopters who are able to send her for teeth trimming if required, and provide a wheel of minimum 25cm
Marie is the mama of Po, Coco and Jojo. She was rescued from being unethically bred and is now living stress-free for the first time in her life. She is the last to be cleared for adoption as we didn’t know how she would react to human interaction. Butterscotch was rescued from the same irresponsible breeder who got rid of the Christmas family. This breeder, insisted Butterscotch only be taken with her brother so they could ‘breed more’ inbred babies.
Charkwayteow (aka CKT) was rescued after being thrown away in a plastic takeaway container with her 3 siblings. Olaf is the sole male rescued together with Anna and Elsa. It was an emergency rescue situation as his owners had threatened to throw him and his sisters away if they were not collected on that night. He was handed over in a tiny plastic food container without any food or water.
Anna (or Nana) is the gentle foodie sister of Elsa and Olaf. She was almost thrown in the rubbish dump with her siblings but was saved in the nick of time. This sweet little girl loves wheel a lot! She likes to run and also sleep on it. She is a very inquisitive girl, often checking her new food, toys or the occasional hand cuddles.
Tofu was rescued from the same irresponsible breeder who got rid of the Christmas family. This breeder, insisted Tofu only be taken with his sister so they could ‘breed more’ inbred babies.
Fortunately, they were separated just in time. Despite the rough start in life, tofu has a sweet and charming temperament, is very tame and keen to trust humans. Since he entered foster care, he has been enjoying a larger living space, and a variety of tasty vegetables and seeds which he has never tasted before.
Po is 1/4 of Joseph’s baby gang. He is a mama’s boy and still sleeps close to her even when he is already fully weaned. He is a sweet boy who is toilet trained (only pees in toilet roll tubes), however he is still a little shy and would require someone with the time and patience to gain his trust. He takes after Papa Joseph and enjoys napping on the wheel while lying on his back.
Coco is 1/4 of Joseph’s baby gang. She is toilet trained and tame. Calm when carried. Like her siblings, she enjoys food and taking naps on her wheel when she’s not running on it. Coco is a little gentle soul who is just getting used to the world around her. Once she gets familiar with her surroundings, she enjoys pancaking on palms too!
Jojo is 1/4 of Joseph’s baby gang. She loves exploring new hideouts and zooming around her tank. She is toilet trained and tame. Calm when carried but absolutely cannot resist exploring new territories. She is a fluffy little baby who is looking for a forever home with an abundance of food and treats.
Momo is 1/4 of Joseph’s baby gang. She is docile, toilet trained (Only pees in toilet roll tubes) and LOVES food. Her eyes have just opened a few weeks ago and she is enjoying life and exploring the world. This is a neat little lady who likes keeping her living space clean and tidy, grooming, and rolling in her bath sand daily.
Pat is a gorgeous hamster with a strong personality. When he was first introduced to paper bedding - he became insanely happy. Pat absolutely LOVES burrowing and making nests out of cardboard boxes. He is high energy and is one of the rare dwarf hamsters who loves climbing.
