Pippy (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf Hybrid
Est Age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Rescued: 2 July 2019
Likes: Snug hideouts, running in her wheel, fresh leafy veggies

Pippy is an intelligent girl who responds to her name. She wakes up easily when called, and will follow your voice to you on her two legs! She spends most of her active time running on her wheel and enjoys making her hideouts comfy by flicking bedding in. Curious little habits like this make her fun to watch and observe.

Pippy may be small in size, but she is one hamster who really enjoys her food. Whether it’s her tasty seed mix, nutritious lab blocks, novel treats, or fresh leafy veggies, you can always count on her to display satisfaction when feasting. Thus, interactions with her are always enjoyable with a good treat in hand.

It takes time to see that Pippy is sweet at heart. She is still afraid of humans, so she will screech initially when carried, and may suffer some stress diarrhea. Patience is most definitely required for Pippy's future ham-parents. However, once you gain Pippy’s trust, she will not be afraid to even sleep in your hand.
