Bonito is the perfect little girl - she's neat, curious and active! Bonito is toilet-trained and pees exclusively in her sand. She doesn't particularly like to bury so her bedding is almost always tidy. When her cage is open, she peeks her head from under her favourite rock hide-out to survey her surroundings, and soon she will come kaypoh and smell your hands for treats.

When not snuggled under her rock, she can found on her wheel! Bonito loves going fast and running - so much so that her fosterer offered her 2 different types of wheels, a regular one and a flying saucer. She alternates between these two with delight every night!

Bonito has a huge appetite. She can polish off her salad everyday (leaving the veggies she dislikes behind), and will tumble into her foodbowl looking for things to munch. The day after her foodbowl has been refilled, all of her favourite seeds will have been removed for further consumption - you can say Bonito likes to prepare for rainy days or for snacks in bed!

Bonito is tame and has not bitten. She isn't skittish but will be startled if grabbed suddenly. She is all too willing to be handled and won't run when held. Bonito is undoubtedly a ham with a wonderfully sweet personality.
