Kirin (Adopted)

Species: Winter white pearl
Est Age: 3 months
Gender: Female
Rescued: 27 March 2019
Likes: kale, broccoli, pine nuts, burrowing

Kirin is an active girl who prefers to nap most of the day and run through the night. Her fur is so white, when she burrows herself in the bedding, it can be a challenge to find her because she blends in perfectly! Like most other hamsters, she is highly food motivated and will definitely come running if you’ve got something tasty for her. Other times, you could just stare at her while she stuffs her cheeks in her food bowl, or curls up to sleep. SO CUTE.

Kirin was mistreated at her previous owner’s, hence is still a little frightened of human contact. While she can be handled for a few minutes, she will nip and squirm to let you know that she does not want to be held anymore. We are currently socialising her everyday to get her used to human interaction. She would be suitable for someone who is able to commit to daily bonding as it is crucial for her mental development.
