Tubby is the gentlest and calmest sweetheart, despite his less-than-ideal past. He was found abandoned in a small cage along with a few other hamsters and most likely fought with them, causing a minor eye injury which has since healed. During the recovery process, he was the most cooperative little boy and tolerated everything without any fuss! (Do note that though his eye has recovered, he has a small scar on his right eye that may make him seem like he’s winking!)
If he had a superpower, it would definitely be (selective) super hearing - especially if it’s his food bowl being topped up, but apparently not when his fosterer tries to call him. The moment he hears the sound of seeds pattering onto the food bowl, he practically shoots out of his multichamber!
Other than sleeping cozily in his chamber, he loves foraging for sprays and herbs (aka more food) that are scattered around the enclosure too. To balance it out, he spends a fair bit of his time on the wheel, though he seems to prefer to use it as a rocking bed instead.
The best part about Tubby is that he loves being handled! He is happy to sit on your palm while he munches his treats and receives some pats, and may even grace you with some of his little licks too. P.S. His foodie brain might mistake your finger for food at times and give a nibble, oops.
