Baby Toot was rescued with 20 other hamsters after they were abandoned at a void deck one evening. The smallest yet naughtiest of her siblings, she was the first one to be separated from the bunch as she kept picking fights with her sisters. When bored, she is often up to no good and even chewed up her fosterer’s sweater which had to be thrown away >:(

She is fiercely independent -  don’t even try to pick her up as she will angrily wriggle out of your fingers. However, she does appreciate being ferried around in “hamster taxis” and will gladly enter a cup or hide that is offered to her. She likes her hamster taxis to drop her off on the floor for some free-roam time. It’s recommended that Toot’s adopter gives her lots of free-roam time as she is super energetic and will try to climb anything and everything inside her cage.

Although she doesn’t like being grabbed, Toot is comfortable with human hands. She readily takes food from her fosterer, and will sometimes even crawl onto an open palm! Toot is generally a friendly girl and is always happy to see you. She usually sleeps during the day and wakes up in the early evening, excited for some night time trouble-making.

Toot is a happy healthy young girl with boundless energy and she will definitely thrive with loads of space, enrichment, attention, and love ;)
