Lawrie is the most gentle hamster you will ever meet! Typical of a male syrian, he is a gentle soul but is full of spunk and energy at night! He takes treats from our hands so politely it's difficult to describe but so cute to see.
Lawrie is a long hair syrian which means his luscious mane will get longer in time! It's such a sight when he just wakes up with bed hair and bedding stuck all over his fur. His adopter needs to know how to brush his fur out frequently to make sure he looks his best self always.
He loves food. Present him with treats and he will run after you. He expends his energy during his free roam time. His adopter needs to give him free roam time every night for 1-2 hours. If you sit in a playpen with him, he will try to climb on you! He climbed onto the top of my head once.
Since he is a climber, he likes to climb on bars. He also bites on bars when demanding to come out of the cage. Therefore, he needs to be in an unbarred cage to prevent injuries.
