Sneezy came to us as part of a group of 7 hamsters rescued together, so we named them after the 7 dwarves from Snow White.

True to his name, Sneezy arrived with some respiratory issues and had to go through 2 courses of antibiotics. The good news is that he has fully recovered and is now a healthy little guy!
Sneezy is quite a chatty hamster. He makes little sounds when he’s exploring or reacting to things around him. Because of his past respiratory issue, his future adopter should be someone experienced who can tell the difference between his normal chatter and signs that something might be wrong. (Fosterer will guide and teach you!).

Food is the fastest way to Sneezy’s heart. He is a huge lover of snacks and will appear almost instantly the moment he hears the cage door open, just in case there’s food involved. Curious and always ready to investigate, he likes to see what you’re doing and what might be coming his way.

Because he loves food so much, Sneezy can sometimes mistake fingers for snacks and may leap forward to nibble or bite. He is not an aggressive hamster, but adopters are advised to handle him carefully and use *protective gloves* (such as gardening, work, or leather gloves) when needed.

While Sneezy doesn’t actively ask for cuddles, he is ok with gentle pets, especially if there’s a treat to keep him busy. With food in hand, you’ll often get a few extra moments to give him a little scratch or two.
At heart, Sneezy is a big foodie in a small body. Now fully recovered and thriving, he’s looking for a home that will enjoy his curious nature and of course his great love for food.
