Profile:
Oxna’s name is inspired by Hamtaro’s friend, Oxnard. With a similar fur coat colour and personality, she is curious yet a little shy. Despite being small, she hoards way more than her size or perhaps much more than she could consume in one sitting…and often leaves her food bowl looking empty after it has just been refilled. One moment the food bowl could be filled, the next moment the food has been completely wiped out without you noticing! VERY SNEAKY!!
Lights out and she’s out! Like a true hammie, she despises light and comes out to explore and run the wheel almost immediately after the lights are off. Although she rarely comes out during the day, you could occasionally catch her moving to different hideouts or boxes to sleep and peeking her head out when you refill her food bowl! Furthermore, Oxna is (sadly) not toilet trained and would pee wherever and whenever she wants to and occasionally sleeps in it (her fosterer is still trying to train her!). Oxna also does not like to be handled but will tolerate it. No biting, not much squirming but rather, she will stay very still and silent when she's being held.
Fun fact: she is NOT a big fan of taking treats from hooman’s hands and has only ever taken mealworms and pine nuts ever so gently from her fosterer’s fingers. Upon offering her treats, she would sometimes stare blankly at you even when the treat is already touching her mouth!!
