Characteristics/quirks/habits:

Oreo is a sweet and sociable ham who alternates between chilling and running furiously on his wheel — hence his name! When he isn't on his wheel, he's often found chilling out in the open throughout the day, pancaked in his sandbox or in one of the corners of his enclosure.

Despite his difficult start in life, he is not afraid of the human touch, and quite kaypoh. He's extremely gentle but may sometimes nibble fingers out of curiosity. He does get a little anxious during free-roaming, so we recommend placing a few hideouts to help him feel more comfortable during free roaming sessions. (Some food bribery will also help).

Oreo is just a happy little ham that will send a flurry of warmth right into your heart! Won't you let him in?

Requirements:

Cage: 70x40cm or bigger. No-bar enclosure preferred but not required.

Wheel: 21 cm or larger

Bedding: Oxbow unscented paper beddings, a deep bedding corner for burrowing

Diet: Bunny Nature Dwarf and Fat Pouches premium mix / Fresh vegetables every other day

Enrichment: Minimum 3 hideouts

Sandbath: Wild sanko unscented sand/ Fat pouches desert sand. A large sandbox is preferred.

Other requirements: More regular spot-cleaning as Oreo is not toilet-trained and will pee in his hideouts and wheel regularly.
