Just as her name suggests, she’s as white and fluffy as a cloud. Cloud was surrendered to HSS in mid-October. Due to her aggressiveness, older age and small size, her fosterer decided to keep her longer to help her adjust better. She has since gained a bit more weight and is much friendlier!
Due to the lack of knowledge by her previous owners, Cloud was housed in a small cage with shredded recycled paper (those we use for writing) as bedding for over a year. She was very lucky to not have suffered any paper cuts or other injuries from those living conditions. She has since been given a lot of safe paper bedding to burrow in and she’s absolutely loving it! Cloud really enjoys burrowing so a deeper bedding height (at least 10cm) will be more suitable for her to provide an enriching home. Don’t worry about not being able to see her though, she’s a curious hamster and will peek out from her burrow when she hears sounds near her cage.
Cloud also really loves sleeping at the corner of her sand bath so a large one is STRONGLY preferred. Her fosterer recommends getting one that is 25x15cm (purchasable at DAISO!).
Cloud is still a little cautious of new hands but with enough patience and time, she’ll eventually warm up to you! Will you be the one to bring this fluffy girl home and give her the luxurious life she deserves?
