Profile:
Calie was named after Calico cats as she is tri-coloured with her fur coat colours: white, orange/light brown and dark brown. Being a curious busybody, she is never shy and tends to come right out from her slumber when she hears bedding rustling nearby (rustle bedding = Calie appearance!).
Oftentimes, you may also catch her standing on her toes when she hears something that peaks her interest. While she does this, she usually gives the most blur-est/toot-est face!! In fact, she definitely does not seem like the brightest…Offering her treats would sometimes be the most confusing and questionable situation, as she would always look for it on the ground/platform, only to realise that you have been holding the treat the entire time!!
Aside from not being afraid of hoomans and enjoying pats, she does not mind being carried for short periods of time. Throughout the day, you could catch her drinking water, sneakily pouching food and changing sleeping places. Calie is also super easily entertained (or maybe overstimulated?) by her surroundings which makes her really fun to watch, from scratching on pebbles and intensely sniffing platforms to nibbling on a stick for as long as 30 minutes, and carrying walnuts and whimzees to her hideouts.
Unlike most Syrians, she also loves mealworms (her fosterer is unsure about other insects though..)! Furthermore, Calie is (sadly) not toilet trained and would pee wherever and whenever she wants to and occasionally sleeps in it (her fosterer is still trying to train her!).
Fun Fact: she is pretty strong and has once tried to take a huge pebble along to her hideout, and yes…she was indeed able to lift it with her mouth!!
