Scarlet

Species: Syrian

Gender: Female

Est. DOB: Jan 2025

Likes: Granite hideout

Dislikes: Interrupted sleep, surprises, drinking from water bottle

Profile: Scarlet escaped her tiny home in the Far West and embarked on a bold void deck adventure before arriving safely at HSS. Now, this red-eyed, white-banded Syrian hamster is slowly learning the art of socializing and trust.

Having been through more than most, Scarlet is a cautious and gentle soul. She startles easily and needs a patient, understanding companion to help her feel safe. The best way to approach her? Gently ruffle the bedding a short distance from where she’s nestled, then hold out your hand and give her space to decide. She may not rush over, but she’s watching—always.

Scarlet isn’t a picky eater, but she’s made it clear she has some boundaries: no salmon, chicken, or tofu. A veggie treat or a crunchy snack, though? Yes, please.

Don’t be fooled by her beautiful, delicate face—Scarlet’s fiery red eyes can see straight through your soul. She may never bite, but her stare might just send you to another dimension. She’s quiet, mysterious, and full of potential for the right person willing to earn her trust.
