When Toastie was surrendered to HSS, he was looking aloof. He was curled up in a tiny little bowl which was the only thing close to his “hideout.” He was housed in a small cage with an extremely small 15cm wheel. As the fosterer tried to say hello, he just flopped on the tube as if he was doing a lazy downward dog.

Fast forward today, this very gentle boy absolutely loves running on the big wheel, forage the seeds and treats in the natural setup, and enjoys fresh veggies and fruits very much. He will pop his little head out of his grand fort (so he thinks! He takes very good care of it in fact.) every night, and slowly prepare for his night-long exercise session.

He has an excellent temperament and never aggressive/bitey. He may not be the biggest fan of a prolonged massage session, but he likes interactions and will definitely come to the door to ask to be out when he sees you nearby, or climb on your hand whenever he wants to play outside.

Toastie is an active boy with an estimated age of around 1yo or slightly less, hence a regular (ideally) nightly free roaming would be ideal at his forever home. He isn’t generally fussy for food and likes to be neat in his fort. Being toilet trained, cleaning after Toastie should not be an issue as he likes to pee in his toilet sand.

As he was previously owned by a family with a kid, Toastie is used to be handled by a smaller hand. However, adopter should be always careful and give a close supervision if there will be kid(s) handling him. He loves eating, hence it’s advisable that you always wash your hand after eating with your hands! ;)

Will you be his forever home and cuddle this sweet boy every day?
