Tonko is a gentle, loving and can be alittle clingy at times. She is perfect for a pawrent that is an night owl as she comes out during the night. Tonko loves to free roam and climb, future pawrents should take note to add accessories like wood for her to climb about and as well as keeping the bedding thick enough for her to burrow. Tonko also has the tendency to climb on the acrylic cage and would highly recommend to have her cage to be larger than the minimum amount in HSS’s required cage size. Do note that Tonko can be easily startled at first and does not like head pats so do take things slowly with her Will you be the one for the chonky gentle giant?
