Georgie is the softest hamster his fosterer has ever touched. His fur feels like clouds. Georgie loves bathing in his sand bath at all times of the day. Potential adopters are strongly encouraged to provide Georgie with a bigger sand bath and to place a baseless hideout in his sand bath as he currently loves sleeping in his hideout in the sand! Sometimes, Georgie can also be found sleeping soundly upside down in his sand bath (makes for good photo opportunities.) He is toilet trained, which makes clean ups easy! However, he may have some accidents from time to time.
Georgie is mostly active throughout the day. He runs on his wheel and generally explores his cage looking very cute even during afternoons. He is a joy to watch as he pops his head up after digging around in the coco fibres. Owing to his undeniable cuteness, he can also be a rather photogenic hamster.
A word of caution: Despite being the softest hamster his fosterer has ever touched; Georgie does NOT like to be touched and has no qualms making it known. If you leave any fingers within biting distance, he will not hesitate to sink his little teeth into you. (Ouch!) Fortunately, Georgie is more than happy to take treats from you and can be bribed to allow you to pat him for a short time while he is temporarily distracted.
Even though he can be quite bitey, his fosterer loves him anyway. Now, Georgie is looking for a forever home! If you would like a hammie that you can watch at all times of the day, Georgie is the one for you! Will you be the one for him?

Bedding: His fosterer uses Teabag Bedding, but any HSS approved bedding is fine, please use enough bedding for Georgie to burrow!
Sand: Wittemolen Sand or Versele Laga Chinchilla Sand
Food: Georgie takes Fatpouches Standard/Premium + Bunny Nature Dwarf Expert with no issues
Enrichment: Minimum 3 hideouts + (Preferred but not required: one multichambered hideout)
