Winnie (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf Winter White Hybrid

Gender: Female

Age: Estimated 3 months +

Likes: Pine nuts, food and burrowing!

Dislikes: Sudden noises and movement, being handled for too long

 Fosterer’s Instagram: @yammiebunz

Winnie was a small girl when she was rescued with other hamsters abandoned at Bedok Town Park. She has since grown into a chonkier one who loves pine nuts and flax sprays!

Winnie is a shy but curious hammy who would poke her head out from her hideout or burrow when she hears her fosterer calling her. She runs marathons on her wheel daily at night and is more active then as well. Winnie has created some burrows for herself and hence should be provided with deep bedding. She often pees in a particular hideout and would require frequent spot cleaning as she occasionally sleeps in it. (Oops!)

Winnie is quite an introvert and doesn’t particularly like being handled but tolerates it. She also tends to be pretty fast on hands and hence would not be suitable for children to handle. With time and patience, Winnie can continue to come out of her shell

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Winnie, feel free to DM her fosterer @yammiebunz on instagram before applying!
