Twinkles is an inquisitive and bright-eyed little boi who will be the first to poke his little whiskers around to explore new sights and sounds! You can always find him standing on his hind legs to peer up at you when he senses you around, it’s very endearing :’-) His mouth is also in a constant “o” shape and he looks perpetually surprised to see you (might also be in anticipation of the snacks he thinks you have for him hehe).

He enjoys chewing on paper towel rolls which double up as enrichment for him so chew toys (paper towel rolls, whimzes, dandelion roots etc) are highly recommended to keep him stimulated. Twinkles is also a huge foodie and will sit on your palm to enjoy his snack! He also enjoys being hand fed like the little prince he is. He is also potty trained and can be counted on to pee in his bathing sand!

He also has very quirky habits such as:

Occasionally lying on his back to eat, thus exposing his belly…. But he doesn’t like belly rubs (tried and tested) so please just let him enjoy his snaccs in peace!
Pooping around his nest... his fosteror has never seen a hamster that had such a disciplined pooping plan (most hamsters poop wherever they want and often all around the cage). Twinkles’ poops are mostly concentrated in one area (i.e. where he sleeps).
