Tsuyu (Medical Care) (Adopted)

Species: Golden Long-haired Syrian

Gender: Male

Age:  4 months old

Likes: Fatpouches Premium/Standard, Pine Nuts, Vegetables, Dried Coconut, Gerber Puffs

Dislikes: Being touched suddenly, Being woken up, sudden movements or sounds

Tsuyu has the cutest button nose, a super stylish long skirt and also an ear piercing (like a small nip). His skirt often traps all sorts of bedding, moss and food, and is basically a breathing mini broom. Tsuyu was part of a 21 hamster abandonment case, he was found in a small cage with chilli padi in it.

Tsuyu is a gentle coward, he flinches at new sounds and movements. However, once he sees you mean no harm, he would approach you to investigate. After he is certain of your presence, he would be quite bratty and brashly explore the space (during free roam).

Tsuyu unfortunately has a sensitive nose, he will sneeze periodically around dust or when he is stressed. He will sniffle and sneeze occasionally, but, if the sneezing occurs often, he will need to go to a vet immediately. He might need nebulising sessions in case he has a flare-up. The adopter should have a nebuliser on standby.

Requirements for Tsuyu Adoption:

  1. No-Barred Cage:

Syrian hamsters are notorious climbers and will attempt to climb anything. To prevent Tsuyui from falling from heights, his enclosure should be barless.

  1. Fully Covered Enclosure:

Syrian Hamsters are also notorious curious creatures. The enclosure needs to be fully covered with a weighted (Locks also can) lid to ensure she does not escape. Do note if it is fully covered, ensure the enclosure is placed in a well-ventilated area or fully shaded. (Ventilation and Heat)

  1. 30 cm Wheel or larger

Tsuyu loves running at night. Do get a silent wheel if you are a light sleeper.

  1. Nebuliser + Carrier (MUST-HAVE)

Tsuyu is prone to sneeze and sniffling, the vet suggests a nebuliser on standby for him. The adopter should be ready for vet visits and frequent nebulising sessions, should Tsuyu have a flare-up.
