Titus (Adopted)

Species: Winter White hybrid dwarf
Gender: Male
Est. Age: 8+ months
Likes: Burrowing, pine nuts, spinach, running on his wheel all night
Dislikes: Dried asparagus

If Titus (pronounced tie-tus) were a human, he’d be your standard jock – athletic, strong, and simply drop dead gorgeous. Despite appearances, this big and strong boy with beautiful, luscious fur is one of the sweetest and softest hamsters you will ever meet! He constantly bestows his fosterer with quick but gentle licks and has never once bitten her. If he’s feeling up for it, he will occasionally groom himself on her hands too!

Every individual has their quirks and the same applies to Titus. He doesn’t seem to understand how he’s supposed to behave while being held by a human so he constantly ends up pushing at his fosterer’s fingers with superhamster strength using his nose, as though he were burrowing deep underground. Other times, he ends up digging at his fosterer’s palms, confused by why his “tunnels” can never be constructed despite his best efforts. His silly antics definitely make for a good laugh.

He can sometimes be a fussy eater too, picking and choosing what he likes from the pile of food. As such, he will require a firm owner who will ensure he finishes his food before giving him more so he gets a balanced diet, and who is mostly immune to his wily ways.

While Titus’ life story and how he ended up being found roaming in the wild by a kind member of the public was never revealed, we are glad that he found his way to us and we hope that you will welcome him into your home as a member of your family where he will begin his new life!
