Teeny (previously known as Timmie) is a brave young mama who was rescued from a hamster hoarding case of 120 over hamsters. Her original name was a result of mixing up her gender initially

She has been through a hard time in spite of her youth, with less than ideal living conditions and hostile environments (Teeny was housed in small bins with other hamsters). She has already given birth to at least one litter of babies immediately after she was rescued, which must have been a huge stress on her little body. As a result, she is extremely wary of humans and is quick to go on the defense.

That said, Teeny is full of energy and is very curious. She will do well with a very patient pawrent who is willing to look past her hardened personality and is experienced with rehabilitation 🥺. We are very hopeful that Teeny will learn to trust and love humans rehabilitate her to trust human hands again soon.

She is young and full of spunk and loves running, burrowing and eating (she loves seeds, guys!) With the right treats, lots of love and a dollop of patience, we believe that Teeny will get over her anxieties and grow to become a loving ham.

Her Fosterer is currently working on hand feeding and daily handling and her new family should be willing to continue to invest the time in bonding with her. Given her spunky energy, Teeny might do better in a larger enclosure!

Requirements :

Cage : Ikea Samla or bigger
Wheel - 21CM or bigger if needed !
Diet - Fat Pouches food with regular feeds of vegetables and treats of boiled chicken breast. Mealworms allowed.
Bedding: Fatpouches Teabag bedding, Kaytee clean and cozy, Oxbow paper bedding .
Enrichment : at least 3 hideouts and a sand pit
