Meet Sleepy, a dwarf hamster who has decided that everything in this world is potentially edible and she will be the judge of that. Armed with an iron stomach, zero hesitation, and an unshakeable belief that mealworms are a love language, she approaches every waking moment with one singular purpose: to eat, and to eat well.
Her reviews are swift and decisive. Mealworms? Unmatched. Seed mix? Acceptable, but she will pick out the good bits first. Your finger near her cage? Interesting texture, one star, but she will give it another try next time just to be sure. To be fair to her, she has never once met a food she did not eventually finish, and she takes her role as quality control very seriously. Once she has completed her assessment and confirmed that you are, in fact, not a snack, she is perfectly happy to be carried around like the tiny chaotic royalty she is.
Sleepy will thrive in a home that can match her energy and keep her entertained. She needs plenty of enrichment, burrowing material, and foraging opportunities to channel that busy little brain of hers. She is sensitive to sudden loud noises, so a calm environment is a must. If you are looking for a bold, food-obsessed gremlin in a very small body who will make you laugh every single day, Sleepy is ready to grace your home with her presence.
