Mama Radish came to HSS after having 2 litters back-to-back. She was only 3-4 months old and was tiny. Even though she was a young mama, she did a great job of looking after all her babies until they were old enough to be separated from her. After many weeks of hard work, she finally got to retire from being a mama and now enjoys a cage all to herself. Over the past weeks, she has slowly put on weight and regained her strength and is now an active and bright hammo!

Due to her history, Radish isn’t a fan of being handled. She has learnt to be a strong independent girl and prefers to be by herself. She loves exploring and running on her wheel, and she can be seen on her wheel the whole night! She’s an active girl who prefers her wheel to treats, and free-roaming to cuddles.

Radish would love a large cage with lots of enrichment! Her fosterer loves watching her explore her surroundings. While she doesn’t enjoy human interaction, she is often out in the open and is not afraid of the presence of humans.

Radish is not recommended for families with young children as she is small, fast, and hard to handle. She also has a tendency to nip when grabbed.

Radish would thrive with a patient and loving adopter who is willing to take the time to bond with this feisty girl. She had a rough start to life, but she did an amazing job looking after her babies and its time for her to enjoy her retirement! It’s her turn to enjoy lots of love and care, will you be the one to pamper her?

Feel free to contact Radish’s fosterer on Instagram (@mellyyland) for more information or if you have any questions!

*Radish was treated for vaginitis after having her babies. While she has fully recovered and is completely healthy now, she has a higher risk of developing pyometra. As a precaution, her adopter should inspect her abdomen weekly and keep her cage as clean as possible.
