Picci was previously housed with hamsters of the opposite gender, hence just 2 weeks after she was surrendered to us, she gave birth to 7 little babies who are now also looking for their forever home. Even though Picci was only 2months+ at that time, she has raised all 7 babies so well that they are now all just as healthy and active like herself!

The best trait of Picci is that she is super friendly and probably the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. From her first meeting with her fosteror till today, she has never bitten anyone and is willing to climb onto your hand if you offer her a piece of treat! Once she has gotten used to your scent, she would even lick your hand when you’re carrying her.

However just like any other hamsters, do be patient and give her time to get used to your scent. Sometimes she MAY accidentally bite you because she thought that your hand is food (or smells like one).

Picci is also toilet-trained to pee in the sand MOST of the time, which makes spot cleaning very easy! But she may still make mistakes by doing her business elsewhere.

Lastly, Picci is a very photogenic hamster, so make sure to always have your camera ready around her!
