Otto (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf

Gender: Male

Estimated age: 3 months

Likes: mealworms, heinz pumpkin potato and beef mash, pine nuts, shanghai green, walnuts, millets, flax sprays, foraging, food top-ups, back rubs

Dislikes: empty food bowl

Otto is a real sweetheart and loves food and attention alike (more so the former). He has opened up in his time under foster care and blossomed into a happy-go-lucky little ball who looks forward to his daily adventures around his cage, hunting (rummaging through the food bowl) for his next meal. He is surprisingly agile and able to climb on top of hideouts that are larger than him, so he does get a fair amount of exercise!

Otto is hand tamed (comfortable with human interaction and will willingly climb onto your palm) and prefers to interact with humans outside of his enclosure. Being a young and curious bean, you can expect to see him poking his little snout in every nook and cranny and trying to climb on top of everything. He enjoys foraging and digging in his sand pit.

The key to telling between Otto’s two default moods are through his ears. If he is really enjoying a meal/ snack, his bunny-like ears fall back against his head (very precious…) and if he is ready for an adventure, his bunny-like ears are almost perpendicular to his head (like little satellite dishes).

This little bean is looking for a forever home with an abundance of mealworms and love and can’t wait to hear from his future pawrent :-)
