These little babies were rescued with their mom, Ramen, shortly after she had given birth to them. Despite a rocky start at life, they have grown to be strong, active little ones! They're currently fed Fatpouches' Seed Mix and crumbled Mazuri Lab Block.

Ponzu loves being held in the palm and slowly petted. It helps her to calm down greatly when she's having a particularly bad episode of stargazing.

Here's a short introduction to the 5 cuties:

  • Ponzu (Grey Female) (Adopted)*

  • Kamaboko (Grey Female) (Adopted): Kamaboko is a chill girl who would just stone when carried, but is very active when placed back into her enclosure.

  • Chashu (Standard Female) (Adopted): Chashu is shrieky, especially if grabbed, but would climb onto your palm if done slowly! She is a huge foodie and can usually be found in her food bowl.

  • Menma (Standard Male) (Adopted): Menma loves to interact with hands by giving soft nibbles and licks.

  • Moyashi (Grey Male) (Adopted)*: Moyashi is the runt of the litter and is much smaller than his siblings. However, he's unstoppable and loves hopping all around his enclosure.

* Special Care Needed: Moyashi and Ponzu have neurological problems. They can live a normal life, but they will have episodes where they uncontrollably run in circles, or would constantly fall on their backs. Such episodes can be self-limiting at times, but may otherwise be very stressful for them. In the event of a bad episode, it would help for them to be gently carried and slowly petted so that they can calm down. As they fall frequently and are at risk of injuring themselves, they should not have access to platforms that are too high, hanging accessories, or barred cages. They should also be provided with more bedding to cushion their falls.

*the male babies in this litter are bonded. The female babies are also bonded. As such, hammos of the same gender can be adopted as a pair or individually.
