Milo was found abandoned with 5 others at a void deck by a kind rescuer. While it was an unfortunate and disappointing situation, they are in good hands now and are on the look out for good homes!
Milo reacts to sounds and movements around his cage. He has a funny habit of chasing your hand when it’s his in cage. It used to be because he was aggressive and wanted to bite you but now, he just wants to grab your fingers to give you little licks and soft nibbles. I suppose it’s a sign of affection… Or maybe he’s acting cute to get extra treats?
The most defining characteristic of this round boi is his love for sleeping against cool surfaces. His #1 top spot in his current foster cage is at the corner behind his ceramic bottle stand (check out his highlight linked above to see what I mean, it’s super cute)! This quirky one does not seem to sleep in his burrows despite being given a lot of bedding so he’s perfect for owners who want to spy on their hamsters 24/7. Despite that being said, sufficient bedding depth of at least 10cm should still be given as habits change and it is a hamster’s natural instinct to burrow.
He’s also a huge foodie (if you can’t already tell from his size)! He gets really excited when he hears his food bowl being refilled and will immediately make a beeline for it. His current favourite treats are his fosterer’s homegrown spinach, pine nuts and freeze-dried tofu!
Milo has the potential to become a manja ham, he just needs a patient and loving owner! Will you be the one to fill him with food and love?
