Marco is a friendly old man and the brother of Nitro, another HSS ham. He came to us severely underweight and malnourished, but has since shot up to 125g munching on mash and seed mixes. He’s extremely energetic, loves free-roam time, and enjoys the company of his fosterer.

Marco spends time sleeping in the open during the day and running on his wheel at night. He will come running to greet you if he notices you walking into the room! When he stands, he looks like a little ghost staring at you in the middle of the night.

As an older ham, potential adopters should note and be willing to provide the following:

Requirements

Softer foods, eg. mash and fatpouches porridge, sometimes sprinkled in with fatpouches or rodipet teddy senior seed mix on the side.
A 27-30cm wheel as he’s still healthy and energetic
Plenty of hideouts and deep bedding in a preferably unbarred enclosure
Love and care
