Mantai (Adopted)

Species: Syrian
Estimated age: 8 months
Gender: Female
Likes: Free roaming, exploring, snacks
Dislikes: Running on the wheel, mealworms

Mantai got her name because, well, her fosterer had a mahjong date on the day she picked Mantai up, and you can guess how well the date went by how she’s named ;) She also reminds her fosterer of her mahjong friends, because Mantai is not shy to make herself at home and is always looking for snacks. If she hears people, she’ll climb up onto her platform and politely look at you until you give in to those big eyes and give her a treat! Be warned though, she loves pouching her food, so you have to steel your heart and ration your snacks if not she’s going to become fat and you’re going to become (happily) bankrupt.

In her previous home, Mantai didn’t have a wheel so she’s not very used to running on one. Instead, she gets her exercise from running around and exploring, and she LOVES free roam time - if her cage door is left open, she will self service and climb out (she’s currently residing in an Alaska). Thus, her future adopter should make sure that her cage is securely shut each time to prevent any unsupervised escapes, and also be prepared to let her enjoy free roams everyday.
