Having housed in an apartment with 128 other hamsters, Lucky did not have a good start in life. He was traumatised by the ordeal but this doesn’t stop him from trusting humans. Lucky is an extremely inquisitive and curious hamster.
On the first day when he was placed in the cage at the fosterer’s home, he switched on his exploratory mode and started exploring his new home. He perks up his ears whenever there are any movements in his cage. He is gradually getting used to human touch. When placed on the fosterer’s palm, this sweet little boy will even give licks!
Lucky is also a daredevil who will not hesitate to jump off high surfaces like tables or platforms. Hence, future adopter has to take note of that and ensure that there are lots and lots of beddings in his cage that will help cushion his falls.
Lucky loves kitchen rolls very much. He often spends his time gnawing on the roll and filing his nails in the roll. Once the lights go off at night, lucky will spend the time running on his wheel. This little boy can run at lightning speed!
With lots of love and patience, we are very sure that Lucky will eventually warm up to humans and be a cuddly hamster! Will you be the one to nurture this cute little boy?
Medical
Lucky is currently being treated for mites and does not appear to have any other medical issues.
Requirements:
Cage: 70x40cm or bigger. No-bar enclosure preferred but not required.
Wheel: 21 cm or larger (non-wooden wheel is preferred as he tends to pee on the wheel occasionally)
Bedding: Fat Pouches Teabag bedding or Oxbow / Kaytee unscented paper beddings
Diet: Bunny Nature Dwarf Hamster Dream Expert, Fat Pouches standard/truffle mix Fresh vegetables every other day
Enrichment: Minimum 2-3 hideouts, lots of kitchen rolls
