Jaun Dice is the most kaypoh hamster you will ever meet. If he even sees you walking past the cage, he will be running out to see you at the door. If you're paying attention to other things (like other hamsters) in his vicinity, he WILL be scrabbling at the door of the cage to get your attention. If you call him by name, rest assured that he will be on the way. If your hands are in his cage, he will chase your hands around just so he can put his paws on you. But when he catches you, he doesn't know what to do.

Jaun is a handsome boy, but he isn't the brightest. He likes to sleep on top of hideouts instead of in them, or sleep squished in the gap between the cage walls and the hideout. When he's frightened, he freezes, which resulted in a funny moment when his fosterer gave him a dish of ice water to cool down on a hot Singapore afternoon. He ran up to it but overshot the bowl and ended up with his butt in the cold water. Then he just sat there, shook, until his fosterer nudged him out.

Jaun is a typical teenager, and doesn't like to keep his cage clean. He is yet to be potty-trained, and will pee in almost every hideout in his cage. He also hates when his scent gland is cleaned, and will squeak his disapproval when you try. He insists his natural aroma is attractive.

If you like squishy hams, Jaun is perfect. He's a huge foodie, which is also why he's a huge ham. He eats almost anything, except the herbs in his food mix. His future adopters must harden their hearts even if he gives you that begging look to refill his foodbowl after he's picked all the good stuff out. He also enjoys a plate of fresh foods every evening, clearing it completely by the morning.

Jaun doesn't typically bite. He's more curious than anything and might nibble you just to test things out, but he's never broken skin. He has confidently stepped onto an open palm before, and doesn't mind being handled. He's not a runner when out of his cage, and will most likely chill in your hands as long as you're petting him. The only time he's skittish is if you try to grab him from above. To pick him up, his fosterer recommends the scoop method, or simply let him saunter into your palm if he feels like it.

Jaun likes to take life slow, and is exceptionally chill. If you want a hamster that is as obsessed with you as you are with him, he's the perfect companion for you!
