Islay was surrendered along with some other hamsters and was ready to be adopted out when she was suddenly pregnant with 3 babies who are looking for their own forever home.

Islay is also the best mama as she was super patient with her babies and also protective! She wouldn't get aggressive but she would nib you if you tried to manhandle them inside the cage. Even when the babies kept sticking to her and annoying her, she would always let them sleep on/with her!

She has since then raised them to be healthy babies like every good mama would! She is now looking for her forever home with her forever human who will be able to provide her the peace and care she needs.

She is a very cuddly and chonky ham who does not mind being carried and cuddled with! If you stroke her gently from her head to her body, she will stay on you until she is ready to go back to her cage. She also loves burrowing/hiding in hideys with her babies!

Requirements

Diet: Fatpouches Standard/Premium seed mix + Mazuri lab blocks
Cage: Unbarred cage (minimum 90x50cm)
Wheel: 21cm or bigger
Bedding: Oxbow paper bedding or birch bedding. Anything that is easy to burrow in!
Sand: Wittemolen/Versele Laga chinchilla sand
Enrichment: Coco peat, sprays, multiple hideout
