Hotcakes Deluxe, or Mr. Fluffcakes, was rescued alongside housemates, McSpicy, Hashbrown, and McFluffy in an abandoned IKEA samla bin. He and his housemates were cruelly thrown away like rubbish beside the garbage disposal area under a flat. Thankfully, they were all spotted by a nice lady and were promptly rescued from the disposal site, before HSS picked him and his housemates up for treatment and rehabilitation.

Hotcakes was found with multiple bite wounds, probably from fighting with his housemates, as hamsters are strictly solitary. He has since then, recovered fully and all of his wounds have healed over.

He is a very gentle boy who loves his food, he will politely receive his treats and savour them. He loves cuddles however not for long periods, preferably 5 minutes or less haha. However, due to his past of abuse and fights with other hamsters, he is very timid and would hide if given the opportunity. He loves many hideouts and running his wheel after dark. But he is also secretly a mischievous boy who loves to climb and run around during free roam.

Requirements and notes for Hotcakes’ Adoption:

Must-Have: Heavy or secure lid on the cage, he has escaped before and would escape again if given a chance, despite his meek personality.
He has some scars on his balls and chest due to his past fights, however, he has taken treatments for past wound infections and is now fully healthy, the vet has assured us he is ready for a good home.
He loves burrowing, so an acrylic cage will be good as you will be able to give deep bedding for him. He sleeps like a cuddle bug so if it's an acrylic cage, you can see him too!
Dedication for Vet Visit and Treatment, the adopter must be ready to go for vet visits and to syringe feed him medicine if required.
