Genki (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf Winter White

Estimated age: 4 months

Gender: Male

Likes: walnuts, pine nuts, shanghai green, Heinz pumpkin potato and beef baby food, baby corn, zooming on his wheel, peeing behind his wheel, tunneling through toilet paper rolls and napping there

Dislikes: sudden movements

Genki is an inquisitive little boi who is getting a little braver every day. Previously housed in a tiny cage with several other litter mates, Genki never knew what personal space was. When he came to his foster home, he displayed clear signs of hesitation and did not know what to do with the space to call his own. Slowly but surely, he has opened up and become more confident!

He has blossomed under foster care and has given his fosteror the pleasure of witnessing his many quirks. For instance, he loves sleeping in his paper towel rolls and slinks out of the ~darkness~ once he hears his food bowl being refilled. Being a true blue Singapawrean, Genki loves food and happily munches on his fresh vegetables and seed mix when the chance arises. He allows himself to be hand fed but only if his human makes very slow movements.

Please note that Genki might be a little vocal in response to sudden movements… can’t blame him, he’s 2cm tall and defenceless :-( He calms down quickly as long as the sudden movements cease and can soon be found poking his little nose around again.

Genki takes time to familiarize himself with new environments and play-pen/ free roam time should be done in a controlled environment with no/ little loud noises. Genki is looking for a patient human to journey with him as his forever family. He pawmises to try his best to be a good boi (especially if food is involved).

Will you open your heart and home to him?
