Floofers (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf winter white

Estimated age: 5 months

Gender: Female

Likes: side belly massages, millets, xiaobaicai, salmon baby food, dried apple, walnuts, dried tofu, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, fatpouches porridge

Dislikes: mealworms, being massaged the wrong way, puffed corn, science select pellets, dandelion roots, beansprouts

Floofers is a curious and lovable bean who thinks she is the Main Character. Her inquisitive nature is apparent as you can see her scampering out of her hideout every time she hears the slightest noise from outside her enclosure. Her friendly self runs over to where you are and paws at the side of the enclosure to welcome you! Of course, she eagerly expects treats every time she graces you with her presence (so please indulge her heh). She has grown tremendously (almost doubled in weight) under foster care but she would like to clarify that she is floofy, not fat.

She is comfortable with massages (on the side of her belly and head rubs, especially when she is eating) and is hand tamed (i.e. she is comfortable with being held for interaction and pats if she is in the mood!) She is also more than pleased to lick pine nut oil off your fingers. It makes for a great bonding session :-)

Being a huge foodie, she has developed an attachment to both her main food and fresh food bowls. When her fosteror tries to take them out for refills, she rushes over and plonks herself on either bowl, to be carried out with the bowls… When her fosteror manages to take the bowls out (without her), she lies on the spot where her food bowls are and stares at her fosteror in anticipation of the return of her food bowls…

You might even catch her splooting on her wheel in the evening as she enjoys the breeze! Her favourite haunts are her ceramic water bottle hideout and a ceramic hideout with a little opening at the top (her fosteror is happy to provide references) which gives her fosteror many sneaky opportunities to spy on her as she naps.

*Medical note: Floofers has fully recovered from a yeast infection and her vet has confirmed that no further follow up/ medication is necessary. You might find that her thighs are slightly bald but her vet has confirmed that this is not a cause for concern. Going forward, her future family should be careful when introducing new textures/ bedding/ sand as her skin might be more sensitive!

Floofers is all ready to start a new adventure with a forever family. Are you ready to open your heart, home and fridge to her?
