Bedding: Currently on Kaytee Clean & Cozy white paper bedding, but any other HSS approved bedding will do!
Sand: Witte Molen sand
Food: Fatpouches truffle’s mix + mealworms (and a moderate amount of hamster-safe veggies/fruits!)
Enrichment: Sprays, boredom breakers, free roam time (in a playpen)
If you haven’t already noticed, Aiko-Chan is quite a chonky girl. She proclaims herself as a foodie who takes great pride in clearing her plate, and is not picky with food. Come what may, she’s ready to nom! (P.S. she’s extremely talented in deshelling sunflower heads.)
Besides eating, she enjoys burning her calories on the wheel when she’s in her playpen or when it’s dark. She also responds to sounds around her and will take peeks out of her hidey. More often than not, you can catch her laying flat in the sand bath where she enjoys her nap time (it’s also her toilet spot!). Are you the one for cute, little Aiko-Chan?
