Edo is the tiniest yet chonkiest boy you’ll ever meet. He will sleep in your hand if he pleases. But don’t be fooled by his cuteness; his tiny body lets out the fiercest scream if he is scared or surprised! This chunky boy will need some time to get used to you so do approach him slowly. The way to his heart is treats treats treats! Lure him with treats and he’ll get on your palm soon enough.

He loves to dig tunnels and deep burrows where he can feel safe. So it is important to provide him with deep bedding (30 cm minimum) to encourage his natural instincts. I personally love to see his tunnels by the side of the cages.

Edo is awake in the morning and at night. Catch him drinking from his water bowl in the day or running on his wheel when no one is awake. He is also adventurous and loves playpen time. playtime is also the best time for bonding with you! FIll his playpen with toilet paper rolls or bridges and boxes, throw in some treats and watch him run around you. Beware that he is skittish and quick on his feet so he is not recommended for small children.
