Fosterer’s Instagram: @peppersfosterhome

People always say that dogs are “good boys” but what about hamsters, like Pip? Pip may just be a hamster to some but he is an extra good boy — even more of a good boy than most dogs (if you know, you know).

He is gentle, obedient, sweet, handsome, soft, and he kindaaaa potty trained himself. There’s really nothing you can complain about Pip… though some people say that he is somewhat of a picky eater. However, to his fosterer, Pip is a gourmand. It’s all about perspective, you see. It is also a good thing that he is so greedy because once you top up his food bowl, the round boy comes running out of his hideout almost immediately and will plonk his butt in his food bowl and eat until he is satisfied. Afterwards, he goes back into his favourite hideout for a post-supper nap.

Pip has gained a healthy amount of weight during his time with his fosterer and can afford to gain even more so he can transform into a perfect circle. He would have gained even more if his lousy fosterer did not try to sully his tastebuds with Rodipet seed mix which he dislikes.

Pip’s other hobbies include making himself a fluffy burrow out of the softest bedding he can find then completely burying himself underneath it all. It is like sleeping in the clouds. Clearly, Pip knows how to enjoy life and knows he is meant to be pampered despite being a kiddo who was found drenched and cold after a thunderstorm in a random park.
