Fanks (Adopted)

Species: Syrian

Gender: Male

Age/DOB: Approx. mid-February 2023

Likes: Food, corners, running in his wheel, sleeping in the open

Dislikes: Being woken up rudely, suddenly getting picked up, eating flowers

It’s no surprise that Fanks has a weird name. His name is actually the amalgamation of the words ‘fake Banks’ – the nickname he got from his foster mum who also fostered his biological brother, Banks who looks the same as he does.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s talk about Fanks and why you should adopt him. Like his brothers Tufts and Banks, he is very handsome but also somewhat stupid. His glorious cream-coloured mane billows behind him as he runs in his wheel and also serves as bedding so comfortable that he can sometimes be found sleeping in an empty corner of the cage.

If you accidentally wake this sleepyhead, you will receive a judgemental glare. But if you take the opportunity to pick him up and gently stroke the sides of his face while he’s still sleepy, he will most likely drift off back to sleep.

All in all, Fanks is a gentle and greedy boy who will empty his food bowl almost daily and make you laugh with his strange, but hilarious antics.
