Zen (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf
Gender: Male
Age: 4-5 months
Likes: Mealworms, freeze-dried toufu, running on his wheel, corners
Dislikes: being picked up, sudden noise

Zen is not zen at all. He is in fact the polar opposite. His fosterer named him Zen in hopes that he will become it.

Zen has a beautiful dark coat with big beady eyes. He is a speedy hamster and will be best for a home with no children. He also tends to squeeze himself out of hands very quickly when being grabbed.

He had a tough life before being surrendered to HSS. His ears are all torn up from being housed with many other hamsters prior. Thankfully after a month with his fosterer, his physical wounds have healed, and he is on the road to healing his mental and emotional health (can you relate?).

Zen's weird quirk is that he likes squeezing himself in between his hideouts and the sides of his cage and can be found in those areas pretty much all day. His fosterer thinks that he does it to prevent anyone from grabbing him suddenly.

Zen will likely need a special someone who will help him through his troubled past and help guide him into being able to trust again.

Requirements:
- Provide lots of enrichment and hideouts to help him feel more comfortable in his cage
- Do frequent freeroam sessions with him to help bond with him outside of the cage
