If you have a tendency to fall for a little bit of quirks in general…Munchie is the one for you.

Munchie was rescued in a large hoarding case where she likely did not have any enrichments like wheels. Being naturally super curious, Munchie learned how to run like a champ on the wheel and roll like a sugared donut in a sand bath as soon as she was introduced to them.

When deeply burrowed, she sometimes cries possibly from dreaming which could be a trauma from the past. She is still a little skittish (but she’s not a biter even when startled) and may not enjoy long cuddles as much, but she loves observing her hooman when she’s not burrowed. She would follow your hand when you take care of the food, sprays or just place your hand where she can see you.

Oh yes, the quirk. Have you seen a hamster dipping her paws in the water for fun? Well now you will. Because this little weirdo loves dipping her hind paws in the water bowl (that was supposed to be for drinking) every night as she runs on the wheel. Not kidding. Every. Single. Night. No one knows why she does it but you’re guaranteed to fall in love with this quirk when you see it. She also does the same with her food bowl hence it may be just her “thing” that she really enjoys for some strange reasons.
