Estimated age: 3-4 months
Gender: Male

Meet Vodka, your chill, friendly neighborhood bear.

He was found camping out in a drain after being abandoned at a nature park carpark , probably thinking it was his own little bear den. Silly Vodka! Luckily his sparkling eyes caught the rescuer's attention. Thankfully, he has gotten out of that situation unscathed and is doing fine :)

This 'bear' has the softest coat of fur which make him so cuddly. He isn't fussy while being handled but won't stay still for long as well. He has a very gentle demeanor. Vodka is also an escape artist, having escaped his temporary bin once by climbing and leaping off his water bottle, so an escape-proof tank is necessary.

He's also a huge fan of chewing things up so buying him a whimzee is definitely a need! Plastic toys are not recommended as he does have a tendency to chew on whatever he can get his tiny paws on, so there is a risk of him swallowing the plastic.

He needs to be monitored if he is drinking from water bottles and bowls. As he can be quite elusive in the dark, it had been difficult to catch him drinking. So far fresh veggies are provided (alongside a water dish and bottle) as an alternate source of fluid.

Requirements:

  • An escape-proof acrylic/glass tank (100cm × 50cm or bigger).

  • Lots of enrichment (toys, healthy chews, millet, sprays etc.)

  • Lots of free roam time

  • Mazuri lab blocks + Fatpouches/Bunny Nature Syrain Expert/Rodipet syrain junior.

  • Fresh vegetables as an alternative water source alongside a water bottle/bowl (until you know he is using the bowl/bottle).
