Dislikes: being disturbed when she is napping, barley flakes, spelt flakes
When she first arrived, Lumi was a territorial ham but after having her enclosure and wheel upgraded, she warmed up surprisingly fast and revealed her sweet personality! She happily laps up all your attention (bonus if you come with snacks!) She follows your hand around her cage (with or without food) and is really a sweetheart who is 100% hand tamed.
Lumi has endless energy and is the biggest advocate of an active lifestyle. Watching her run on her wheel and all about her cage is sure to keep you entertained and might even motivate you to be a little more active! But rainy days are cheat days and she often naps a little more than usual (don’t we all?) She does not have a good perception of height and her new hooman needs to keep an extra sharp eye out for her when she is on surfaces that are off the ground (eg. tables)
A big sandbox is recommended for this girl’s lounging pleasure (and your viewing pleasure). Did I also mention she likes to plop on her little butt to munch on her snacks? Super cute.
