Maxine (Adopted)

Species: Hybrid Dwarf

Gender: Male

Est Age: 2 - 3 months

Maxine can usually be found sleeping in his wheel or tearing into his many cardboard rolls like a ferocious dinosaur.

He was from a huge batch of neglected babies, and unlike his habitually curious and quirky sis, he seems to have a more sedate nature. He prefers to nap his day away, and can usually only be lured with the shaking of treat bags and food or patiently calling his name.

Do give him some time to open up to you, as he is still rather afraid of human contact, and bothering him unduly may result in some vocal hissing from him. However, he has opened up much more than when he first came to his foster, and does tolerate being picked up and petted every day, as long as one is patient enough to wait for him.

This boy would fit in best with a slightly older or experienced adopter as his temperament may give younger adopters a shock when first handled. Do provide him sufficient enrichments and most importantly toilet rolls as he loves them, and much patience when first handled. Do contact his fosterer for tips on how to handle him!
