Beta was rescued in June 2022 together with her 5 babies. She has since completed her tiring journey of being a young mom and is now looking for her forever home who can shower her with lots of tender loving care which she has missed out in her earlier days. Ever since her babies were weaned and separated from her, Beta is now enjoying her ME time in her own cage in the fosterer’s home. She is very happy with abundance of food and enrichments provided and this explained her weight gain over the past weeks. Beta is a very active little girl young hamster who loves running on the wheel once the lights are off. She is also a very inquisitive hamster who will not hesitate to pop her head out from the granite whenever the fosterer calls her name.

Beta is extremely motivated by food. She will zoom out from wherever she is upon hearing the sound of the food containers. Her future adopter is highly recommended to buy a variety of sprays and herbs for her. Despite a rough start in life, Beta is slowly opening up and gradually getting used to human touch. She does allow for head rubs when she is eating. However, future adopter will have to be very patient with her as she has a tendency to nib when she is startled. Once she gets comfortable with you, she might even sit on your palm and enjoy her food. At times, she will give licks too!

With lots of love and patience, Beta will eventually grow up to be a cuddly hamster! Will you be the one to nurture this young little girl?
